Applied Technology
Information technology has shaped our world. Since I arrived here in 1984, I have experienced the greatest technology boom the world has ever experienced. Technology has the ability to bring us all closer. I went from talking on the phone with a cord attached to the wall in a living room in the 80's and 90's, to AOL instant messenger at the turn of the century, cell phones, and now video calls with my son from across the globe at a professional soccer game.
Passion for Wine
I am Matthew Perez and the confluence of wine with travel to some of the most beautiful places on earth, its representation of place (terroir) and people, my love for maps and geography, and my passion for having a good time has peaked my interest.
